Áine is excited to announce her debut solo national tour starting this November 3rd in Limerick and with subsequent shows in Dublin, Cork and Clonakilty. Inspired by her recent artist’s residency in Little Bird Cafe Dublin, she is bringing her Cup of Focals on the road and is aiming to give people the tickle they need to reignite their own cúpla focal.
The tour will include a mix of live shows and daytime guerrilla tactics, as Áine will try to catch as many people as possible, give them a focal from her cup and hopefully have a fun interaction that will help people feel more positive about giving Irish a go.
The live show is a wonderful, hilarious and wholly accessible mix of English and Irish, that allows anyone enjoy it, even those who don’t have a word. Áine similarly uses her “divinely awkward” and offbeat style to present this comedy and create a truly unique experience, masterfully opening the scope of the language in a way nobody else can.
